Curt & Mich Jenner meet up with Flag Expedition (2009-09-19)
Curt and Mich Jenner - introduced in Australian Story by Chapter Chair, Chris Bray (14/09/2009) travelled to Exmouth this week and meet up with Wayne and Pam Osborn currently on a Flag Expedition to document Humpback Whales during the Southern Migration. The Jenners are recognised for their pioneering work in discovering humpback birthing grounds in the Kimberley region and Blue Whale feeding grounds in the Perth Canyon.
Wayne and Pam have been in Exmouth since September 10 and have photographed approximately 200 whales including many cow calf pairs using these waters as a vital resting ground before the arduous journey back to Antarctica.
