Mr. Matt Carter (Student Member - 2009, Australian) Areas of Interest: Maritime archaeologist, explorer and conservationist. Brief Bio: Matt Carter, 25 is a maritime archaeologist with a background in the study of Australian and New Zealand maritime heritage. Selected as the 2009 Australasian Rolex Scholar for the OWUSS Matt travelled around the world excavating and surveying numerous shipwrecks and sunken villages. An avid diver, explorer and archaeologist Matt is now undertaking his M.A thesis investigating underwater archaeological sites through the University of Otago.
